Candidate Evolution
EVOLUTION
YOU DO NOT LEVEL UP.
YOU CHANGE.
Progress inside the Tower is not a straight climb through a conventional skill tree. Every expedition returns something that may alter what you can survive next: recovered materials, biological samples, unfamiliar mechanisms, damaged technologies, environmental data and fragments of organisms that obey rules your original body was never designed to confront.
Back in the Laboratory, those discoveries can be researched, reconstructed and compared against your existing biology and equipment. A useful sequence may become a mutation. A foreign structure may inspire reinforcement. An organism adapted to pressure, toxicity, heat or predation may reveal a solution that can be incorporated into your own design. Technology can replace a weakness; biology can grow around it; sometimes the distinction between the two stops mattering.
What becomes available is shaped by what you recover, what you understand, what you can afford to risk and which problems the Tower repeatedly places in front of you. Some adaptations preserve what you already are. Others demand that something be replaced, destabilized or abandoned. Equipment can be damaged. Sequences can degrade. A powerful solution may solve one chamber and make another more dangerous.
Evolution is therefore not a reward track. It is the accumulated record of the problems you survived, the knowledge you brought back, and the decisions you made about what should remain human.
FURTHER DISCLOSURE HAS NOT BEEN AUTHORIZED.
The Tower does not currently permit detailed information concerning candidate evolution to be released to external observers. Transformation procedures, viable mutation sequences, biological reconstruction methods and technology-integration protocols remain sealed.
Candidate adaptation records are incomplete by design. Certain systems cannot be examined before direct contact, and others appear to become accessible only after the Tower has observed enough behavior to determine which forms of change are relevant to the individual entering it.
The Evolution Chamber remains inaccessible. Additional records will be released only when the Tower permits them to be seen.
Remain Within Communication Range
THE TOWER WILL RELEASE MORE WHEN IT IS READY.
Until then, you can follow development, speak with other candidates and be present when new Tower records are cleared for transmission.
Candidate Signal Open
Remain within transmission range.
Provide a transmission address to receive future Iteration Zero updates, Tower records and access announcements.
The Evolution Chamber remains sealed. The signal does not guarantee clearance.
